Key points
- Miricanvas unveils AI connector linked to ChatGPT
- Creates draft presentations and card news from conversations
- Full launch planned within the year
Miridi, which runs the design platform Miricanvas, unveiled an "AI Connector" that works with ChatGPT. According to VentureSquare, the feature helps create draft designs such as presentations, card news and posters based on the conversation and content information in ChatGPT. Digital Daily and VentureSquare reported that the company aims for a full launch within the year.
The venue for the unveiling was an OpenAI event. Betanews and iNews24 reported that Miricanvas took part in "OpenAI DevDay Exchange Seoul" at the Raum Art Center in Gangnam, Seoul, on the 22nd and showed the AI connector there. Betanews said the event was aimed at developers, designers and IT industry professionals. Related coverage was concentrated on the 29th.
Outlets described how it works slightly differently. Digital Daily reported that the AI suggests templates that fit the content and builds a draft, and the user finishes it in a dedicated editor. TechM reported that its distinguishing feature is creating design drafts with conversational AI and raising the quality of the results based on templates made by professional designers. Datanet said it is a feature that connects external services to AI tools such as ChatGPT, and noted that Miridi's CEO is Kang Chang-seok (강창석).
Glossary A connector is an integration feature that links an external service to an AI tool such as ChatGPT so that the service's functions can be used within the conversation.
