Manufacturing AI company Onepredict is taking part as a joint research and development institution in the "Collaborative Intelligence Physical AI-Based SW Platform R&D Ecosystem Building" program, worth 736.8 billion won in total, promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).
The part Onepredict handles is a subproject worth about 72 billion won led by Jeonbuk National University. It will develop a general-purpose manufacturing AI framework covering anomaly diagnosis, predictive maintenance, production planning and process control.
The core is turning AI that used to be built separately for each factory into a common module that many manufacturing sites can share.
