Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and ICT Bae Kyung-hoon said on the 6th, at the National Assembly's parliamentary audit by the Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee, that the Independent AI Foundation Model (Dokpamo) project will continue.
According to Tech M, Bae said, "Dokpamo will continue," reiterating that the government will keep the Dokpamo project going separately from the Frontier AI project. The two projects will be pursued in parallel.
Digital Daily reported that Bae said AI capability related to cyber security cannot depend on outsiders.
