Hanyang University ERICA has been selected for the 2026 AI Innovation Talent Training Program (AX Graduate School) run by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation. The plan is to train master's and doctoral-level experts who will lead the AI transformation (AX) of industry by applying AI and robot technology at industrial sites.
Kyosu Shinmun (교수신문) and Veritas Alpha (베리타스알파) reported that the goal is to train more than 240 practice-oriented experts. Kyosu Shinmun added that it will offer an average of six or more global internship opportunities a year and carry out 113 industry-academia joint projects.
