Dell Technologies unveiled the Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition, a premium creator laptop with the Nvidia RTX Spark superchip, on Oct. 8. It is the first time the chip is used in the XPS series, and the laptop will go on sale in South Korea on Oct. 16.
RTX Spark is a chip that combines Nvidia's AI, graphics and memory in a single piece of silicon. Inven explained that it combines a Blackwell RTX GPU and a Grace CPU.
Dell said it was designed to let PCs directly handle high-resolution video editing and 3D rendering as well as the development and inference of large AI models. Datanet reported that it put support for local AI development front and center.
