Samsung Electro-Mechanics is holding its first in-house hackathon, in which employees build work AI agents themselves using SEMCo-Work, the generative AI platform it developed. It runs for four days, from the 13th to the 16th, at the Suwon campus.
According to Blotter and Chosun Biz, the goal is to find agents that automate repetitive tasks such as product development, production and quality control, and customer response. Blotter reported that the idea is to build a work environment in which each employee uses one AI agent, and Techworld News put "one AI agent per person" in its headline.
EBN explained that the company plans to share outstanding cases companywide to raise work efficiency, and its headline said 200 employees will build AI agents.
