Samsung Electronics held 'Partner Day' and the 'Silicon Valley Future Telecom Summit 2026' in Mountain View, California, and unveiled network technology that combines AI and 6G. According to IT Chosun and Techworld News, the event ran from Oct. 14 to 15 local time.
Chosun Biz reported that verification results will be presented for data transmission in the 7 GHz band, a candidate frequency for 6G, and for technology that senses the surrounding environment using base stations. iNews24 reported that verification results for core technologies developed jointly with partners will also be presented.
Industry News (인더스트리뉴스) reported that Samsung announced an AI-native network roadmap as telecom infrastructure, once hardware-centered, shifts toward virtualization and software. Techworld News said in its headline that satellite communication technology is also among the items on display.
