XCENA Unveils CXL Memory Technology for AI Inference at OCP Summit
Key points
- XCENA attends OCP Global Summit 2026
- Shows CXL-based memory solution for AI inference
- Plans joint validation with SK hynix
Fabless semiconductor company XCENA took part in the OCP Global Summit 2026, held Oct. 12 to 15 (local time) at the San Jose Convention Center in the United States, where it showed memory technology for AI inference.
The core is a memory solution based on CXL (Compute Express Link). The outlets explained that the technology reduces the growing memory demand, the burden of moving data and the resulting bottlenecks in AI inference.
According to Digital Daily, XCENA will start from this to jointly validate CXL-based memory expansion technology with SK hynix, and also plans to widen cooperation with major semiconductor companies such as Samsung Electronics.
