Synology announced the official Korean launch of FC600 and BC800Z, new network cameras equipped with AI video analysis. Betanews and Techworld News reported that the two products are specialized for high-resolution precision surveillance and wide-area indoor monitoring.
The key is edge AI. Boannews (보안뉴스), Datanet and Digital Daily reported that the two products are based on edge AI that performs video analysis on the camera itself. Boannews said the company has moved to expand its intelligent video security portfolio.
Digital Daily added that they support Korean license plate recognition and 360-degree surveillance. Datanet reported that Synology announced the news on the 28th.
