Liner, an AI agent startup, is holding the first Liner Scholar research contest, which tests commonly held everyday assumptions against academic papers. VentureSquare, Digital Today and IT Chosun reported the news, and Digital Today said the company announced it on the 16th.
The three outlets describe how to take part in broadly the same way. According to VentureSquare, participants use Liner Scholar, an AI research tool built on more than 500 million academic records, to search, compare and analyze papers and then write a short paper. IT Chosun reported that participants pick a topic they have long been curious about and write a short paper by analyzing related papers with the help of AI.
By Digital Today's account, the contest theme is "Assumptions we have believed, verified through papers." Digital Today explained that participants choose an everyday assumption or question as their research topic and use Liner's academic research tool. VentureSquare said in its headline that anyone aged 14 or older can enter. IT Chosun described Liner as a global AI agent startup led by CEO Kim Jin-woo.
