Channel Corporation, which operates the customer AI platform Channel Talk, officially launched Voice ALF, a voice AI support service. The company announced it on Oct. 21. Chosun Biz described Voice ALF as a generative AI agent that handles support work by talking with customers by voice.
The launch also introduced ALF Marketing, a feature that calls customers first. VentureSquare reported that Voice ALF supports both inbound support that answers customer inquiries and outbound support aimed at prospective customers. iNews24 also wrote in its headline that it handles both inbound and outbound support.
The outlets emphasized slightly different points. AI Times led with the fact that an AI has arrived that not only answers customer center calls but also phones customers first to provide support. AI Newspaper (인공지능신문) noted that the service goes beyond passive support that receives customer calls and offers a feature in which the AI calls customers first to handle sales, product guidance and more. VentureSquare said in its headline that it automates everything from customer response to outbound sales.
Channel Talk had previously operated ALF, an AI agent for chat support, and the new service is a phone support service under the same name. AI Times, Datanet and iNews24 wrote that the Channel Corporation CEO is Choi Si-won.
