Estsoft Expands AI Avatar "Perso Interactive" in the Public Sector
Key points
- Estsoft steps up push into local governments and public agencies
- Moving beyond AI kiosks to tailored service builds
- Use expanding to city halls, district offices and libraries
Estsoft (CEO Jung Sang-won) said on the 26th that it is stepping up its push into the local government and public agency market with "Perso Interactive," its real-time conversational AI avatar service. Digital Today described the service as one that provides information by talking with users in real time through an AI avatar.
The core of the announcement is a change in how it supplies the service. Bloter reported that Estsoft is moving beyond simply supplying AI kiosks and expanding its business to building tailored AI services that connect the data and work systems of local governments and public agencies. Tech M wrote that it is widening its business scope from the private sector to local governments and public agencies by building AI services linked to each institution's website, data and work characteristics.
The outlets described the targets differently. Tech M named AI avatar use at city halls, district offices and libraries in its headline. Digital Daily reported that the scope is expanding to public services overall, including local governments, education and cultural facilities, and put AI civil service and education in its headline.
Estsoft said earlier, on the 21st, that it won the Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC) project to "build an in-house generative AI language model (sLLM) for JDC." According to AI Times, the project will run for six months and builds a generative AI environment on JDC's internal servers. The Elec described it as a project run in an environment separated from the outside in order to comply with security and privacy regulations.
Glossary An sLLM is a language model smaller than a typical large language model, making it easier to run on an organization's own servers. A kiosk is an unmanned guide terminal in public facilities and stores where users look up information or use services themselves.
