Cyber threat intelligence company AI SPERA signed an agreement with the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) on responding to global cybercrime and will take part in INTERPOL's Gateway initiative. Techworld News, Digital Daily and Hellot (헬로티) reported this on Oct. 28.
AI Times described Gateway as a framework, launched by INTERPOL in 2019, for sharing cyber threat intelligence with private partners. Hellot wrote that it is a private-sector framework that works with trusted partners such as cybersecurity firms, technology providers and financial institutions.
VentureSquare reported that AI SPERA plans to share threat intelligence on IPs, domains and internet-exposed assets gathered through its platform Criminal IP, along with its analysis expertise. Boannews reported that AI SPERA will support INTERPOL's cybercrime analysis based on its cyber threat intelligence (CTI) platform Criminal IP.
Headline wording differed by outlet. Hellot wrote that AI SPERA is joining as an INTERPOL private-sector cooperation partner, Boannews that it supports INTERPOL's cybercrime analysis, and VentureSquare that it joins the cooperation network and shares threat intelligence.
Efforts to add AI features to threat intelligence products are also continuing. Hellot reported on Oct. 26 that Kaspersky announced an update to its Threat Intelligence Portal supporting AI-based summaries and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration. Boannews reported that it supports automatic summarization of large volumes of threat data and integration with external AI.
Glossary Cyber threat intelligence (CTI) is information gathered and analyzed about cyberattacks, such as malicious IPs and domains, that helps security staff respond to threats.
