Conversational AI company Weaverbrain held a press conference for its "2027 Tech Day" at L-Tower in Yangjae, Seoul, on Nov. 3 and unveiled the AI agent platform "AgentMAX." Chosun Biz, VentureSquare, Techworld News, Datanet, Betanews, EBN and Blotter reported from the event.
AgentMAX is a platform focused on drawing out human action. VentureSquare explained that it detects a user's hesitation, speaks first and suggests an action, and reported that it is based on data from 1.23 million members gained while running Speaking Max and more than 10 years of counseling experience. Blotter reported that the company uses the utterances and call-sales data it has built up over 18 years of running language services since its founding in 2008 for product sales and care services beyond education.
Chosun Biz and EBN described demonstration scenes. According to Chosun Biz, when CEO Cho Se-won took an incoming call and said he was in an important meeting, the AI replied that he had hung up saying he was busy yesterday too, and urged him to spare just 30 seconds to practice one sentence. EBN reported that when a demonstrator who was considering buying an electric bike said it was expensive, the AI sales agent set out to persuade, saying it comes to 2,900 won a day.
Explanations of the business direction followed. Datanet and EBN reported that Weaverbrain is expanding its business-to-business (B2B) AI solutions business on the back of this unveiling. Betanews said in its headline that the company is shifting from a language service to an AI agent supplier, and Techworld News wrote that it is targeting the enterprise market beyond education. Datanet named Cho Se-won and Lee Yong-guk as CEOs.
