Samsung Electro-Mechanics said on the 6th that it signed a supply contract for multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) for AI servers with a large global company. The contract is worth about 290 billion won (about $210 million).
The supply period is one year, from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 next year. It is the sixth long-term supply contract this year by disclosure count, and Techworld News reported that cumulative long-term contracts have exceeded 3.9 trillion won.
The contract covers MLCCs for AI servers, and Techworld News reported that it strengthens the company's push into the AI server component market.
