LG Uplus said on the 13th that it is converting the AI search in its integrated customer platform U+one from a feature that answers questions and guides users to menus into an "actionable AI agent" that also handles actual tasks.
According to The Elec, U+one is an app that handles telecom tasks in one place, such as checking plans, billing and payment, and signing up for roaming and add-on services. Chosun Biz reported that customers can now pay their phone bills and sign up for roaming products while talking to the AI. EBN explained that checking bills, paying overdue charges, and getting roaming product recommendations and signing up can all be done through conversation alone.
