TwelveLabs Launches Jockey, an AI Agent That Finds and Edits Video
Key points
- TwelveLabs launches video AI agent Jockey
- Scene search to editing by spoken request
- Built on its own video understanding model
TwelveLabs said on the 16th that it officially launched "Jockey by TwelveLabs," a video understanding AI agent. Jockey is a service that, when a user makes a request in natural language, finds the needed scenes in a video and goes on to edit them.
It is based on the company's own video understanding foundation model. According to AI Times, embedding and metadata generation technologies were applied, with a focus on helping ordinary users with no development knowledge edit video easily.
Techworld News reported that the company strengthened its full-stack strategy, spanning foundation models to agents, by linking video search, analysis and editing in a single flow. Digital Daily said it turned scene hunting, which used to mean watching accumulated footage one clip at a time, into something you can simply ask an AI to do.
