Video analytics AI company Intellivix said at a press conference in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 16th that it will list on the KOSDAQ on Oct. 30. Several outlets stressed in common that it is a general listing, in which the company met earnings requirements, rather than a technology special listing.
According to VentureSquare, the company posted operating profits for 13 straight years and recorded 46.6 billion won in sales and 4.9 billion won in operating profit last year. Byline Network reported that it plans to use the funds raised from the listing to advance its own AI technology.
As its business direction, an autonomous safety AI was presented that goes beyond conventional video surveillance to understand risky situations and decide how to respond. Techworld News and Datanet reported plans to expand the business into defense AI and physical AI, and AI Times carried an explanation that it will extend tailored on-site solutions, such as servers, cameras and robots, to autonomous driving and safe ship operation.
