Lotte Innovate is taking part in the "2026 ITS World Congress," held in Gangneung from Oct. 19 to 23, to show future transportation technologies including next-generation cooperative intelligent transport systems (C-ITS), AI smart tolling and autonomous driving. Chosun Biz and EBN reported that the company announced this on Oct. 19.
According to Chosun Biz, Lotte Innovate has set up an exhibition hall of 135 square meters at the Gangneung speed skating venue. iNews24 explained that the company is expanding its integrated mobility business by adding AI technology to its experience building transportation infrastructure and its capability to operate autonomous driving services.
On the event itself, Newsis reported that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Gangneung city announced on Oct. 18 that the "2026 Gangneung ITS World Congress" will be held for five days, from Oct. 19 to 23, at Gangneung Olympic Park. Newsis wrote that the event is called the "Transport Olympics."
