Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang forecast that the global memory chip market is unlikely to fall into oversupply through 2029. Chosun Biz, iNews24 and Digital Today cited a CNBC report and said the remarks were made on the 22nd (local time).
Chosun Biz explained that the view is that expanding AI infrastructure investment will sustain demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and low-power DRAM (LPDDR). iNews24 wrote that Huang dismissed oversupply concerns, saying memory demand from AI data centers will keep growing, and added in its headline that he said he is open-minded about China's CXMT.
Digital Today reported that although memory stocks have recently plunged, Huang rebutted oversupply concerns by pointing to memory demand in AI and data centers.
